Foul Play
OK.. Switzerland is out but so should have been Italy!
I have been cheering for Italy since Italia 90'navanta (so it's pronounced) but the way they qualified yesterday for the quarterfinals was quite disgusting, Italy 's game plan have always been defense oriented but with a team like Australia they should have been more attacking.... Wrong decision by the reefer made way for their only attacking striker Matarazzi to sit out so they were reduced to 10 men and they all hurdled up defending to a bold Australian team with no conversion ability.
Sad end for Australians.
Most of the Commentators were heard saying the teams that made to the final rounds in this Worldcup doesn't look deserving at all.
Now Italy play Ukraine in Quarterfinals and I hope they should put their miserable performance to an end.
I forgot to mention France in my yesterday's post, they have performed poorly and the internal conflicts have become too obvious in the field barring the last qualifying match which they won 2-0, they play Spain today, I hope both team play with their full potential but the array of yellow and red cards that was given in recent matches can't be ruled out.
Brazil & Ghana also plays their knockout match today, the African nation have been gritty and fascinating so we might be in for a exciting match.
