The Quarterfinals...
1 Germany Vs Argentina
2 Portugal Vs England

Two major contender, Germany and Argentina fights it out in Quarterfinals, what could have been a potential semi's.. so it got to be a cracker. Germany seems to have a fair chance over Argentina.

Portugal Vs England, Potugal have all their star striker lined up with yellow or red cards, still England can't get lucky all the time.

Potential Quarterfinals...
• Brazil Vs Spain
• Italy Vs Switzerland

Brazil Vs Spain, Brazil will surely be able to resume their supremacy.

Italy Vs Switzerland; incase Italy manages to win over Switzerland , i don't see them going any further...

Potential Semi-Finals...
• Germany Vs Portugal
• Brazil Vs Italy

..... so who plays the big match?

Germany Vs Brazil
will it be a cracker or a dampener? Have to wait and watch!!

Germany vs Argentina will be a cracking affair! To me, the Argies will start as slight favorites...if the Germans can nick a goal within 15 minutes, who knows? :-)

yep guess an early goal have been decisive in quite a few matches in this Worldcup, but its sad that some high profile games have been lackluster...
Germans have the home advantage but nothing will stop Argentina to fire.
i'll be glued! : )

I have not seen a German game yet, but Klinsman seems to have induced the Germans into a very pleasing brand of attacking football. They are a traditional powerhouse & have great record in finals.

The Argentines, though, are the syuff magic is made of. However, they aren't exactly solid.

The real test for me is how Argentine defence stands up to German attack. Argentine attack has already proved itself over & over again.

Also, Argentines have come from behind & won once whereas the germans have had all easy matches.

We'll see.
